After studying international business (BBA, MBA), Mark began his career in advertising in 1990 at Saatchi & Saatchi where, in just 4 years, he climbed to the position of Account Director.
His experience grew at Garbergs in Sweden and then at TBWA where he developed as Managing Director and Client Services Director respectively.

In 1998 Mark joined Indie as co-owner and Managing Partner and has since built a strong and solid platform for the agency’s success.
The accomplishments of the agency during Mark’s tenure have been recognized by a jury of the major Dutch advertisers and trade journalists who, in 2008, named the agency, Agency of the Year. Mark also was in the board of SIRE and VEA and served as a blogger for Advertising Age.

In 2012 Mark left Indie in order to follow his dream; building and growing brands that add real value: ecological, social and economical. On 12-21-2012 he started NATIVE circles, a creative accelerator for conscious brands.

His client responsibility includes Apple, Nike, Ben&Jerry's, Heineken, Dockers, Monster, Audi, Microsoft, Nike Golf Europe, Ecover, Interface, Lovechock, Eosta, Bocca Coffee, Eneco, Triodos Bank
